Studio works

Hello people,welcome to December! Time really moves fast! It's December now and a few weeks to go for my  first semester final exam.Besides,here we end of our studio RUS104 and it's the time to create a personal blog to summarize the outcomes in my first semester studio projects.Well~~below are some of the photos that i taken for each of my project during my free time.

So,this is my 1st project 'Personal Logo' that what we gonna do is to create a logo that representive my personal character and a short description for this logo.

Here come to my 2nd project which named as 'Stewarship'.This is the most difficult project that i had ever done as it's hard for me to draw my faces,but anyway i tried my best to complete this with 3 hours in one day and an essay best describe myself.

This is project 2A named 'Pleasant View',as what you can see in this photo is a mosque that i used water colour to coloured it with darks colours for contrast,definition and shadows to get a good range from lights to dark.

Follow by 3rd A project  'Man-made Structures' which must be sketch in School of HBP building from an appropriate angle.So,this is the building that i choose in HBP (studio and lecturer offices).

Project 3B 'Natural Structure'is the second part of third project that required to sketch a natural creatures which can be found around the School.I captured this flora to give myself a reference during my sketching and finally this is what i had done for this project.

Continue to the Project 4 is to produce a 'Sculpture' with the theme of sustainable with using any type of materials and writing for a short statement to describe of the sculpture about.In this project,to achieve the requirements of this project i chose to use up with recyclable materials like ice-cream stick,old newspapers and others to create a double storey house.

Next to the project 5B 'Blueprint' ,based on Project 4 we are required to produce plan and elevations (front, right, left and rear) drawings.The drawings should be coloured and also required to produce axonometric drawing based on the sculpture model that i produced.

Come to Project 6,it's no more on drawing but turn to paper works which are required to prepare a mind mapping complete with all relevant charts and figures from inception stage untill occupation stage based on the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) plan of work 2007.

This is my mind mapping with my selected role of Project Manager to present the process involved in project development stage. 

We are divided into 4 groups in our major course (Building Technology) to the Project 7A.This project is to analyse the HBP site with all its existing buildings and surrounding.

In this analysis board shows the comprehensive existing buildings and surrounding around the HBP which included location(Key Plan, Location Plan & Site Plan),Sun Orientation and Prevailing Wind,Vegetation and Views and Circulation.Some photos are pasted on the board to show the location of the buildings.  

Based on our site analysis from Project 7A,in Project 7B we need  to determine the most suitable HBP buildings to be linked by HBP Skyway that can protect us from the rain.

                In my group we had design this outstanding structure skyway that be a ‘landmark’ of  HBP.

Follow by the last part of Project 7,we made a sky way sculpture based on design and dimensions of our HBP Skyway in Project 7B with using the materials of Balsa Wood  and polystyrene.

In Project 8A we are divided to join the others major courses in one group around 14 members to start the '(Re)visited' project at Batu Feringghi to analyse the facilities and cultural attraction and tourism related economic activities.

                                         

Project 8B are more focus on Batu Feringghi environment and condition like circulation,noise area,pollutions and buffer zone.In addition,also identify the type of building along the Batu Feringghi Beach and the main road.                  
                                       

Project 9,the 7 disciplines in single project to create an Information Centre at Batu Ferringhi.

These are the 4 boards we combined together to make it look comprehensive and to show how our plan and design concept look like.

Come to the last Project 10,an exhibition event was held at the major spot of the school (The Drum) to share our studio works from Project 1 to Project 9 with the larger community of HBP.In this project,2 groups are combined to form 6 major groups which responsible for designing 5 exhibition booths.
